Wow! What a weekend! I’ve actually been back from Vegas since Monday, but since I haven’t worked out, I didn’t have too much to blog about. Today, I finally got back to the gym. I went and did 45 minutes of weight lifting. It was a typicall full-body workout, nothing out of the ordinary. But, boy did I feel weak! I knew going into it that I wasn’t going to be in top form, but I was having trouble with everything tonight. I hope my last few slacking weeks haven’t hurt me too much and I bounce back pretty quickly.
After lifting, I drove home to go for a run outside. When I got home the storm clouds were already rolling in, and I could hear thunder. I decided to risk it anyways, and went for a quick run in the neighborhoods around my house. I felt ok- not great, but I also didn’t feel terribly out of breath or tired. I only ran for about 20 minutes, but I was happy with that.
I know I said I would get my training schedule up on its own page over a week ago and I still haven’t done it. I did start it, but got caught up in other things and never finished. I’m not going to commit, but I will try to do it soon. I’m pretty busy right now though, the wedding is only 2 and a half weeks away. Eeek!
